Trust

Here, trust is shown.

Everyone shows what they proved. Every review comes from a real rental.

Three principles

  1. Verifying is optional

But it shows, and people answer those who did it.

  2. Each proof says what it is

What we checked, when, and what it does not guarantee.

  3. Identity and property, separately

Knowing who you are does not prove you can rent that place.

Verified

One word, one fact.

It only appears when we checked something: an identity, a licence, a property. Always with its date.

Levels

Never a bare number: what counts is what’s behind it.

  • Trust level

    New

Nothing verified yet. That’s not a bad sign, but ask for more proof before you commit.

  • Trust level

    Contact confirmed

They confirmed how to reach them (e-mail, phone or a linked account), but not who they are.

  • Trust level

    Identity verified

We know who this is: official document and selfie checked.

  • Trust level

    Highly trusted

Identity verified, plus further proofs or good reviews from confirmed rentals.

Reviews are earned

  1. Only for confirmed rentals

Both sides confirm it, each from their own account.

  2. Written blind

Nobody reads the other review before writing theirs.

  3. With a right to reply

Once, in public. Reviews are not removed on request.

  4. Facts, not just stars

We show the text and how many rentals are behind it.

Six rules for renting without surprises

  1. Don’t pay before visiting

Not even “to hold it”. If you can’t go, send someone.

  2. Stay on Deveras

Someone rushing you off the chat is in a hurry for a reason.

  3. Check the badges, not the photos

Photos get copied. A verified identity doesn’t.

  4. Beware of too cheap

Low price, owner “abroad” and urgency: the three signs.

  5. Don’t send your ID by chat

Your identity badge already says who you are.

  6. Contract and receipt

Deposit and terms in writing. Templates are here.

Report

Every listing, profile and review has a link. A person reads it and your name is never shared. If you already paid, also report it to the Quintana Roo cyber police.

Review and content policy

What we don’t keep

No photos of your document, no biometrics: only the result and the date. Your phone never shows on your profile.

Questions

Does verifying cost anything?

No. It’s free.

I’m a foreigner with no INE. Can I verify?

Yes, with your passport and a selfie. Registry matching only exists for Mexican documents.

Does a badge guarantee I won’t be scammed?

No. It lowers the risk, but nothing replaces visiting and signing before you pay.

Can I review a rental from before Deveras?

Yes, if the other side has an account and confirms it.

How do you check an agent’s licence?

By hand: a person checks it against the state registry.

Your profile, for real.
